- Use abusive, discriminatory, or offensive language
- Engage in unwanted contact or persistent messaging
3. Be Honest
Trust is essential on RIDU.
You must:
- Provide accurate profile information
- Post truthful ride details (time, location, availability)
- Represent yourself and your intentions honestly
Do not:
- Create fake accounts
- Mislead users about a ride or activity
4. Safety First
Your safety — and the safety of others — comes first.
You should:
- Meet in safe, public places
- Verify key details before joining a ride
- Leave any situation that feels unsafe
You must not:
- Engage in dangerous or reckless behaviour
- Pressure others into uncomfortable situations
5. No Commercial Use
RIDU is for informal, cost-sharing rides only.
You must not:
- Offer rides as a business
- Make a profit from rides
- Advertise transport services
6. Legal Compliance
You must follow all applicable laws, including:
- Road and traffic laws
- Licensing requirements
- Vehicle safety standards
Illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
7. Vehicles & Driving Standards
If you offer rides, you are expected to:
- Hold a valid driver licence
- Use a roadworthy and registered vehicle
- Drive responsibly and follow road rules
Unsafe driving or behaviour will result in removal.
8. Prohibited Content & Behavior
You must not use RIDU to:
- Promote illegal activities
- Share harmful or dangerous content
- Spam, advertise, or solicit unrelated services
- Attempt scams or fraudulent activity
9. Privacy & Boundaries
Respect the privacy of others.
You must not:
- Share personal information of other users without consent
- Record or photograph users without permission
- Misuse messages or platform data
10. Reporting & Enforcement
If you experience or witness a violation, report it through the platform.
RIDU may:
- Remove content
- Suspend or ban users
- Restrict access without notice
We reserve the right to act where necessary to protect the community.
11. No Guarantee of Safety
While we aim to foster a safe environment, RIDU cannot guarantee the behavior of users.
Users are responsible for their own decisions and interactions.
